Welcome to Making Magic with Mom! We’re Angela and Terri, a mother-daughter duo who share two big passions: the magic of Disneyland and the thrill of the hunt for hidden treasures. What started as a fun tradition of Disney trips together has turned into something much bigger—a reselling business that fuels our adventures, a way to share our Disney expertise, and most of all, a bond that grows stronger with every trip we take.
Here, we share our love for Disneyland, our journey in the reselling world, and tips for making your Disney experience even more magical. Whether you’re here to talk park strategies, vintage finds, or just Disneyland nostalgia, you’re in the right place!
✨ Meet Angela

Disneyland has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, we visited whenever we vacationed near my aunt’s house, and even after growing up, I kept coming back. I ran the second and third-ever Disneyland half marathons, and when I took my (then boyfriend, now husband) for his first visit, I knew Disneyland would always be a part of my story. The moment I really knew he was the one? Right before our first ride—Space Mountain—took off, he turned to me, giggled, and I knew he was my kind of person.
In 2017, we started taking our boys to Disneyland, always bringing my mom along, and I fell in love with the parks all over again through their eyes. I love how Disneyland lets you step into the bubble, where everything you need is right there, no rental cars, no worries, just magic.
After the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year of 2021, I declared 2022 my “Year of Joy” and bought Magic Keys for my mom and me. Before that, we only visited once a year (including being there on the last day before the pandemic shutdown!). With our Magic Keys, we started taking 2-3 mother-daughter trips a year, plus our annual trip with my boys. These trips with my mom are special. I know we won’t be able to do them forever, so I’m taking every opportunity while I can.
Of course, we quickly realized we had an expensive hobby. That’s when we launched The Knick Knack Attack, our vintage resell shop, in 2023. My mom has always collected knick-knacks, salt and pepper shakers, cookie jars, and all things vintage kitchen, so we started selling some of her finds (and, let’s be honest, things I don’t want to inherit one day!). The shop has done well, but we’re looking to scale up, and maybe, one day, fund trips to every Disney park in the world!
For now, we’re happy to be part of the reseller community, the Disney community, and the Disneyland-loving community. Whether we’re hunting for vintage treasures, making new memories in the parks, or helping others plan magical trips, we love sharing joy just as much as we love experiencing it.
✨ Meet Mom (aka Terri)

I’ve loved Disneyland ever since my very first visit at 19. There’s just something about the atmosphere, the smells of Main Street, and the feeling of leaving everything behind that makes it special. It’s my happy place.
Taking Angela when she was younger was wonderful, but when I got to experience Disneyland with my grandkids, it took on a whole new meaning. Watching them light up, laughing together, and making memories as a family—that’s been my dream. Every trip is full of so much joy, and I wouldn’t trade those moments for anything.
Angela came up with the idea to start a reselling business, and boy, has that been an adventure! I love that we get to do it together. The hunt is exciting, but what surprised me most is how meaningful it is. We’ve come to love the items we sell, and it’s incredibly rewarding to read messages from buyers who are replacing something special from their childhood.
While our shop doesn’t cover all our Disney trips just yet, it helps make our adventures possible—and that’s what it’s all about. Disneyland, reselling, and sharing joy—it all comes full circle for us.
